The OHG Challenge is a five-week competition, sponsored by OmnicomHealth, that aims to introduce outstanding university students to careers in healthcare communications.
Challenge:
Obesity is not acted upon early enough—by either patients or healthcare professionals—due to persistent stigma and lack of empowerment.
Problem:
Delays in recognizing obesity as a treatable condition, coupled with widespread societal stigma, hinder timely access to effective medical treatments and support.
Solution:
Empower both patients and healthcare professionals to take proactive steps early, using medical treatments, and build a supportive environment that removes stigma and encourages action.
Audience:
Individuals and communities seeking professional weight-loss support.
Concept:
Encourage rewarding small accomplishments, emphasize making better choices over focusing on the uncontrollable, and recognize that small steps lead to significant change.
Strategy:
• Promote compassion and actionable steps
